Cannes to Bush: In Your Face
Fahrenheit 9/11 wins the most revered award in cinema, the Palm D'Or. Any doubt over the film having distribution in the States by July 4 has been laid to rest. Oh, and by the way . . . In your face, Michael Eisner.

Bill Cosby: Politically Incorrect
Bill Cosby, at a speech given at an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Brown decision, said, "'Why you ain't.' 'Where you is.' ... And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk. ... Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. ... You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth!"

And The Infighting Proliferates
Apparently House Speaker Dennis Hastert gave former POW Senator McCain a dressing down regarding his commitment and criticism of the Bush Administrations misadventures in Iraq and mistakes in America. Does this not bring us closer to a Kerry-McCain ticket in November?

National Review: Bush is a Flop
In light of growing conservative discontent over President Bush's performance, even Rich Lowry of the conservative National Review could not avoid criticizing GW's performance whilst trying to rally the GOP base earlier today.

Germany's Schroeder Gets Bitch-Slapped
In an alarming escalation of public humiliation of politicians, a Mannheim man decided to forgo the typical pie-in-the-face tactic upon encountering Schroeder, opting instead to bitch-slap the teutonic commander-in-chief.

Moore 911 Hijinx

Reporter Paul Majendie of Reuters gives an incomplete assessment calling the film an "anti-Bush tirade," sarcastic, full of half-truths, and simply propaganda. But how can you fault Moore for simply co-opting the successful techniques utilized by the Bush administration. Is it illigitimate to question the Bin Laden's family's ties to the Bush dynasty? Is it uncouth to ask congress members who voted for the war in Iraq why only virtually none of their own children are tromping through Fallujah?

Malpractitioners' Accusations of Malpractice
In a surprise move to uphold its unflinching integrity, Rumsfeld's Pentagon accuses New Yorker muckraker Seymour Hersh with 'journalistic malpractice', which is curious in light of how delicately the Bush administration has dealt with other critics such as Richard Clarke, Paul O'Neil, and Joseph Wilson.

Panic in Williamsburg, New York
Ultra-Orthodox Jews in New York City's Brooklyn Williamsburg community are in an uproar over non-kosher wigs. In orthodox Jewish tradition, since married women are not permitted to show their natural hair, wives often turn to wearing wigs. However, it has been discovered a number of these hair pieces have originated from India, the byproduct of Hindu religious rituals in which the hair is shaven. Polytheism being the antithesis of and thus a big no-no to monetheistic Judaism, ladies are burning their wigs.
