The Federal Constitutional Court overturned an earlier court ruling that allowed the western city of Bochum to stop the far-right National Democratic Party from holding a June demonstration against the building of a new synagogue."

Swift Boat Veterans for (un)Truth
"Patterson and O'Neill (authors of the screed Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry ) have a history of issuing false claims about Kerry ... Patterson also asserts in his book that 'every terrorist' is 'hoping' the Democrats win the upcoming U.S. election ... O'Neill has long-standing ties to the GOP establishment, and O'Neill's own p.r. adviser has described O'Neill as sounding like 'a crazed extremist.' MMFA also noted O'Neill's participation in Republican efforts to smear Kerry, dating back to the Nixon administration."

Resignation Rumors & GOP Morale
"Rummy is soon going to resign, pushed ... by a Bush administration that desperately wants to remodel its image ... second resignation, on spurious health grounds, will be of our Dick as vice-president ... replaced by Tom Ridge, currently head of the Department of Homeland Security ... Osama Bin Laden will be captured before 2 November," according to a highly placed Republican strategist. The reporter also had "a visit from a very upset Bush-Cheney volunteer worker, who said that morale at HQ was plunging by the day - that chaos reigned and that he believed George W Bush would lose in November."

GOP Tricking New Citizens into Registering as Republicans
"Dario Cruz has lived in the United States for 16 years, but just became a citizen last week ... One of the things he had always wanted to was register to vote, but when he was offered the chance to do that right outside the ceremony, he knew something wasn't right -- the place on the form where you're asked to choose Democrat, Republican or independent was already filled out. 'It's like one side,' Cruz said. 'You don't get to choose.' According to Cruz and his family, every form was checked off Republican."
